Road closures due to take place south of Inverness next week for road surfacing work have been cancelled due to the impact of coronavirus.

Part-day road closures of the B851 at Inverarnie village were set to be implemented from next Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm for resurfacing.

A Highland Council spokesman said: "The associated resurfacing works will be re-arranged in due course.

"Highland Council apologises for any inconvenience caused."
