Police said no-one was hurt.

RUSH hour commuters faced chaos on the A82 in Inverness earlier today after a lorry and car collided on the Shore Street roundabout.

The crash, which occurred at 4.08pm, all but blocked the Chapel Street access to the roundabout.

The lorry and car - a black VW - also blocked one of the roundabout's lanes onto the Friars Bridge, causing big tailbacks to form on all roads onto the roundabout.

Travel times between the neighbouring Rose Street roundabout and Shore Street roundabout were taking more than 10 minutes at around 4.30pm.

Police said there were no injuries in the collision.
