RAIL passengers face disruption on the Highland mainline this weekend.

Engineering work will close the line between Stirling and Dunblane on Sunday, ScotRail has confirmed.

The closure means that buses will replace Inverness-Glasgow trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth.

LNER’s Highland Chieftain services will also divert to run via Ladybank and will not call at stations between Perth and Edinburgh.
