Torridon, Skerryvore and Tweed added to MacMoray Festival line-up for 2025





A trio of Scottish bands have been added to the line-up for this year’s MacMoray Festival.

Skerryvore, Torridon and Tweed will play at the event, which is due to take place on April 19 and 20 in Elgin’s Cooper Park.

Scottish folk band Torridon were formed in 2005 and return to MacMoray after playing at the festival in 2024.

Celtic rock group Skerryvore have been on the go since 2000, while Tweed - a celeidh band - have played plenty of gigs locally.

The trio of newly-announced acts join an ever-growing list of acts at the festival.

The groups performing are Ultrabeat, 911, The Bay City Rollers, Nathan Evans and Saint Phnx, Lasgo, The Vengaboys, Showaddywaddy, N-Trance, Baccara, Black Lace and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers .

This is the fifth running of MacMoray - which attracts around 10,000 visitors per day. At the minute, it’s planned to be the final event.
