SCOUTS will be out in full force once again this festive period delivering Christmas cards in the Inverness area.

Householders are being invited to support the Scout Post, now in its 20th year, whilst also saving a bundle on delivery costs.

Scouts charge 35p per card, irregardless of size, meaning that festive greetings can be sent at rock bottom prices.

All cards are delivered by youth members who are supported by a team of adult volunteers.

Around 25,000 cards are delivered every year which allows the Scout Post to raise essential funds to support the organisation across the Inverness district.

The traditional yellow boxes are already in place across the city along with the HSPC supported Scout stamps.

The last date for posting is December 9 and a complete list of locations to buy stamps and post cards can be found at www.scoutpost.co.uk
