Sign on Inverness bridge is short-lived as removed overnight

A sign that mysteriously appeared on an Inverness bridge has been removed.

The 'public notice' sign that had been placed on Ness Bridge read: 'This is not a bank machine'.

The sign created a buzz on social media, with members of the public dubbing it 'hilarious'.

However, the sign vanished again last night.
