A Spanish restaurant is to hold a day-long charity fundraiser as it celebrates 22 years in Inverness.

La Tortilla Asesina in Castle Street is hosting a 10-day fiesta, including free and discounted events. live entertainment and special offers, starting on March 3 to mark its anniversary.

As part of its commitment to the community, one day of the celebrations - March 5 - will see 25 per cent of all sales donated to the Highland Hospice.

Duncan Chisholm, owner of La Tortilla Asesina, said it reinforced the restaurant’s dedication to giving back.

“We’re so grateful to our customers who have supported us for over two decades,” he said.

“La Tortilla has always been about more than just food and this 10-day celebration is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the Inverness community.”

He said since opening its doors in 2003, the restaurant had become a staple in the city’s dining scene, known not just for its tapas and paella but for its vibrant atmosphere, live music and strong ties to local charities and cultural events.
