The Rotary Club of Spey Valley is set to launch its second Classic, Sports and EV Car Tour and has announced a partnership renewal with Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz of Inverness.

The tour takes place on Sunday, May 11 starting and finishing in Aviemore and is open to all vintage, historic, classic cars, modern sports cars, EVs and hybrids. Entries are limited to 60 vehicles.

The charity car tour aims to raise much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and CRY- Cardiac Risk in the Young.

The latter works to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death and offers support to affected families.

Funds raised will also go to Rotary Club of Spey Valley Charity to support nominated charities and local causes.

The fully planned route will give patrons the chance to enjoy the best their cars have to offer while visiting iconic Scottish vistas and locations.

“The route will be on some of the most scenic roads in Scotland from the Cairngorms National Park to the Moray Coast and back through Speyside.

“We hope entrants will not only enjoy a great day out but also dig deep to support our three nominated charities.

“Events like this cannot happen without the support of volunteers and the sponsorship and backing from the team at Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz of Inverness.’

Blair Forbes from Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz of Inverness, said: “We are delighted to be part of such a fantastic event, helping the Rotary Club to make a difference to those most in need in our local area.

“It is a great opportunity to support these amazing charities, while also showcasing some of the fantastic Mercedes-Benz range to fellow car enthusiasts.”
