Stagecoach backs Highland business of the year award which is part of Highland Business Week and organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce
Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce, Highland Business Week provides opportunities for businesses to raise their profile and have their achievements recognised.
The week-long series of events includes the business-to-business Highland Spotlight Exhibition and the finale of the week – the Highland Business Awards.
The awards ceremony takes place on Friday, September 30, at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness.
All the winners of this year’s 11 awards categories will be put forward for the Highland business of the year award with one company being crowned the overall winner. Sponsored by Stagecoach Highlands, this is the only category for which nominations cannot be made.
Managing director David Beaton said: “We’re delighted to sponsor the Highland business of the year award at the Highland Business Awards.
“It’s really fantastic to have the opportunity to recognise a local business which shares our commitment to Highland communities, the environment, and the employees who make everything possible.”
Organisers are welcoming nominations for all categories – including employer of the year and employee wellbeing – which are open until 5pm on August 5.
The employer of the year category is for an organisation that demonstrates dedication to its workforce, beyond any statutory duty, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture and creating a stimulating and supportive work environment. Employees are invited to nominate their employer for this award.
The employee wellbeing category is for a business that puts the welfare of its staff at the heart of its activity, improving employee engagement and productivity as a result. Organisations are invited to nominate themselves or another business.
