Stagecoach bus services in Inverness affected by cancellations due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ this morning
Bus services across Inverness have been cancelled this morning due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Among those cancelled are the Number 1 bus, which departed from Academy Street leaving for Dalneigh at 7.21am.
Later services at 7.38am, 8.40am, 9.38am and 10.40am between Dalneigh and Balloch have also been cancelled.
The 11.30am Dalneigh to Queensgate is also not running today.
Also cancelled is Service 3, which runs throughout the morning between Culloden Academy and Craig Dunain, and Service 2, travelling between Craig Dunain and Woodside Village has also been affected.
Routes between Ness Castle and Queensgate, Hilton, Union Street and Milton of Leys/Lochardil have also been impacted, with cancellations affecting services 4, 5, 6 and 16.
A statement from Stagecoach on X read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances the following services are unable to operate this morning.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused. For live bus times please see the stagecoach app.”
In a separate update, the coach operator also noted that bus services 2 and 3 will be forced to divert via Old Perth Road due to a fault with the Raigmore bus gate.
A statement on X read: “Due to a fault with the Raigmore bus gate, all service 2 and 3 shall have to divert via Old Perth Road.
“Due to this diversion service 2 and 3 shall operate with delays of up to 15 minutes until the bus gate is working again.”
