Beauly family fancy dress party to take place in aid of the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre
Beauly is set to have a family fancy dress party this weekend.
Taking place at Phipps Hall on April 26, the event is being organised by Tanya Whyte, who is taking part in Strictly Inverness, which raises funds for the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
Alongside learning to dance, Tanya (33) and other participants also have to organise events to boost their fundraising efforts.
Tanya said: “There will be baking and strictly raffles to purchase as well as the best fancy dress competition.”
She is taking part in this year’s competition in memory of her mother.
Tanya said: “The Hospice has a special place in my heart, as they provided amazing services when my mum became terminally ill with cancer and passed away in their care in 2011.
“The care we all received as a family was exceptional and I would like others to benefit from their care and services.”
Tanya’s event runs from 12pm to 4pm and costs £10 for adults and £5 for kids.
