The run in to Strictly Inverness is now well underway with the 16 pairings beginning their practice in the run up to the big event in May.

The journey has begun, experts have given their advice and friendships have been formed with the 32 competitors preparing for the big night on 11th May 2024.

The group will be split into two with each competing in eight-couple semi-finals, with the top four in each reaching the final on May 11, with Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice set to join the judging panel.

The event will be the 13th edition of Strictly Inverness and throughout this week we are going to take a look back at memories from Strictly in years gone by.

Today we finish by looking back at the 2019 edition of the competition.

You can also look back at our previous Strictly Inverness flashback's from the last couple of days.
