Teeny toddler Noel Hopkins is an internet giant (again!)
THE Highlands’ youngest online sensation has been melting hearts all over the world again as yet another of his mum’s home videos has gone viral.
Earlier this year, Noel Hopkins became famous overnight after a short film of him blaming Batman for covering a mirror in bright pink lipstick was put on facebook.
Five months on, the plucky youngster has been at it again and this time it is his great memory and good manners which has captured the hearts of social media users.
In his latest video the two-year-old from Wester Craigs fires off the names of dinosaurs with knowledge that would put many adults to shame.
Dressed in Toy Story pyjamas and his trademark glasses, little Noel excitedly names the creatures as his mother holds them up for him behind the camera.
“Diplodocus!” He shouts excitedly on the first mention, before politely thanking mum Laura when she hands it over.
Next up was a triceratops, before a ‘spikeysaurus’ (spinosaurus), each one met with a “thank you”.
He is then shown a T-Rex and asked what noise it makes and he responds with a cute roar. The video ends with Noel proudly naming a T-Rex as his favourite dinosaur.
Since it was posted on Facebook on Thursday it has been “liked” almost 190,000 times and shared 147,000 times.
Thousands of people have also commented, keen to point out how polite Noel is.
“This little boy doesn’t just have a good memory, but is well mannered as well. Young man, there are even grown-ups who don’t know how to say thank you,” said Miles Neff from Tenerife.
Conan McDonald from Liverpool added: “Aside from this little one’s fantastic knowledge of dinosaurs, he is so polite and his manners outshine many adults that I know. He is such a little gent!”
Others remembered Noel from the Batman video which was viewed a staggering two million times. It caught the attention of US TV star Ellen DeGeneres who invited him to Los Angeles to appear on her show Little Big Shots, which is featured on the major network NBC.
Acting as an executive producer for the show, the comedian has teamed up with host Steve Harvey to showcase a selection of talent from the smallest of people.
