Inverness power cut impacts thousands of people

Thousands of people in Inverness have been impacted by a power cut.

The unplanned outage was first reported at 1.30pm today.

SSEN — who operates the network — has said that over 2000 people have been impacted by it so far.

The area covers Drummond, Kingsmills and Crown.

SSEN said they have engineers on the way and hope to have power restored by 4.30pm.
