Throwback emo night set to take place as Strictly Inverness contestant gets ready for competition
A Strictly Inverness contestant is heading back in time for one of her fundraisers.
Erin Smith (29) is taking part in the annual dancing competition which raises funds for the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
She is hosting ‘Emoness’ at Inverness Ice Centre on April 19.
Erin said it will be ‘a night of throwbacks to all your favourite pop punk and emo hits’.
As part of ‘Team Thursday’, Erin is currently rehearsing three times per week to perform on May 15.
Speaking about why she signed up for the competition, she said: “My partner’s grandad, Brian had been supported by Highland Hospice, the care and love he received from them was fantastic.
“I’ll also be 30 in August so I thought I’d take on something out of my comfort zone!”
Erin is also hosting a Race Night on March 21 at the Chieftain Hotel and a Comedy Night at Upstairs on March 27.
