Top chefs to provide a feast at Inverness event in aid of Marie Curie
A TASTY event is on the menu to help Marie Curie next month.
Inverness College UHI along with Woodwinters Wines and Whiskies are hosting A Feast and A Fling on November 1.
It will include a three-course meal provided by some of the north’s finest chefs.
The starter will be from Scott Davies, chef at the Three Chimneys on Skye, the main by Mike Crook of Good Highland Food in Moy and the pudding by John Wilson from the Glenmorangie House near Tain.
Marie Curie community fundraiser Vonnie Stevenson said: “The evening starts off with a gin cocktail from Glenrinnes Distillery and canapés from the Lunchbox Boys, followed by the magnificent meal by three of the area’s best chefs and then we finish off with a wee dram from Tomatin Distillery.
“We will have a charity auction and then dancing with the fabulous Torridon.
“We are so lucky to have such amazing support for Marie Curie locally which means we can continue to provide a hands-on, at-home nursing service to patients with a terminal illness who want to remain at home for their care.
“Last year’s event raised over £20,000 so it is a hugely important fundraiser for the charity and a wonderful night out celebrating the best of the Highlands for our guests.”
The event is sponsored by Caley Timber & Building Supplies and tickets are priced at £75pp and available at https://a-feast-and-a-fling-in-aid-of-marie-curie.eventbrite.co.uk
