Dingwall fight broke out ahead of crunch Ross County match
Tensions erupted in Dingwall ahead of the relegation decider between Ross County and Livingston on Monday, with a group of young people recorded fighting in the town centre.
Footage circulating online and seen by the Inverness Courier shows a large group of young males dressed in black fighting on the High Street next to Dingwall Free Church just ahead of the game at Victoria Park — which resulted in a 2-4 loss and relegation for the home team.

It is unclear whether the group consisted of Ross County or Livingston fans, or supporters from both clubs, or whether they were even football fans at all.
Police were alerted when the fight broke out.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Monday, 26 May, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance on High Street, Dingwall.
“The group dispersed, and no injuries were reported.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
