UPDATE: A832 Fortrose-Avoch landslide-hit road on Black Isle now set to re-open today under traffic control
A ROAD linking two Black Isle communities WILL re-open under traffic control THIS EVENING, it has emerged.
The confirmation from Highland police came minutes after they reported that the A832 between Fortrose and Avoch would be closed ‘until early next week’.
That first announcement will have come as a major shock to many.
However police have since updated that original announcement stating that one lane of the A832 Fortrose to Avoch road on the Black Isle will be re-opened under traffic control from 6.30pm on this evening following a landslide this morning.
