UPDATE: A9 clear after collision near Slochd summit

Traffic has returned to normal on the A9 after a collision near Carrbridge prompted temporary restrictions on the carriageway earlier today

Traffic Scotland have confirmed that the road has been cleared following a two-vehicle crash this morning.

Road users faced heavy traffic and delays for a few hours in the area.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
