UPDATE: A9 reopens after reports of car ablaze near Aviemore

The A9 is now partially reopened after a car caught fire near Aviemore this morning.
The incident prompted the closure of the trunk road in both directions, however police have confirmed that one lane is now open.

A spokesperson said they were called at 9.50am after they "received a report of a vehicle on the A9 near Aviemore."
It is not known if there are any casualties.
Drivers are advised to be careful when approaching the area.
