Enquiries are ongoing after emergency services were called to an incident on Druid Road in Inverness early this morning, where a man was found to be “unresponsive”.

The 64-year-old man was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.

Police Scotland say the death is being treated as “unexplained”.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.05am on Saturday, December 14, 2024, we received a report of a 64-year-old man found unresponsive on Druid Road, Inverness.

“Emergency services attended and he was taken to Raigmore Hospital where he died a short time later.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
