Slip lane on A9 in Inverness reopens following earlier accident

A slip lane on the A9 which was closed following an accident has now reopened.

Traffic Scotland had warned motorists of possible delays on Thursday morning after confirming the closure of the busy southbound slip lane onto the Raigmore interchange roundabout.

There was no immediate word on the number or type of vehicles involved or the incident's severity.

However, the alert was removed at around lunchtime, indicating that the incident had since been cleared.
