UPDATE: VIDEO + PICTURES: Firefighters battling blaze at former Inverness nursing home dealing with partial building collapse
Firefighters tackling a huge blaze at a derelict nursing home in Inverness have had to deal with a partial collapse of the building.
Six fire crews were called to the former Clachnaharry Care Home just above the city’s A862 Clachnaharry Road, just after 4 am this morning.
There were no reports of any casualties.
Our videos show a section of roof has collapsed during the blaze.

Police are preparing to launch a full investigation into the fire, but it is understood there have been no arrests in connection with it.
Fire crews are still working to control the fire and the road remains closed to traffic.
A Scottish Fire Service spokesman said: “Our crews are still there in attendance and still using main jets to fight the fire.
“They have managed to sectionalise the fire into different parts of the building and there has been a partial building collapse due to the fire as well.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 4.25am on Friday, 19 April, police were called to a report of a fire at a derelict building on Clachnaharry Road, Inverness.
"Officers are assisting SFRS and the A862, Clachnaharry Road is closed.
"Enquiries will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire."
