The Victorian Market Food Hall has a new guest for the next few weeks.

Aviemore-based Kilted Fudge Company has taken up residence until February 12, and is stocking up decadent treats for those with a sweet tooth!

The company has been running for nearly 10 years, developing over 50 flavours of fudge.

The pop-up in the market features products such as fudge, Scottish tablet, macaroons, marshmallows, chocolate bark and a range of other locally made produce.

Kilted Fudge Company, co-owner Chris Lewis explained why they have decided to come along to Inverness city centre: "I am good friends with Douglas and Jenni from Bad Girl Bakery and we have been talking about us coming along to do a pop-up shop for a while, with the view to coming here permanently depending on how things go."

Speaking about their best-sellers, Chris added: "Normally its our salted caramel, millionaire shortbread or clotted cream fudge. But it is seasonal so at the moment our Cream Egg fudge and Fruit Salad flavours are flying off the shelf!"

"My personal favourite, however, is the raspberry ripple or chocolate orange fudge!"

We tried out the lemon meringue and sticky toffee pudding and we would highly recommend it if you want a wee pick-me-up!

"Its a great chance to come and do some Valentines day shopping with us", added Chris.

Kilted Fudge Company will be open in the Victorian Market Food Hall from 10am – 6pm, seven days a week.
