Inverness Hollywood star Karen Gillan announces Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival’s 2025 theme - Bella Goes to the Moovies
A dash of the silver screen looks set to shine at the ever-popular Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival next year - after the event announced a Moo-vie theme for its 2025 musical festivities.
And in keeping with its cinematic theme, it called in Inverness’s own Hollywood movie star Karen Gillan to officially announce the theme!
Karen, who is most famous for her role as Nebula in Marvel’s blockbuster movies, as well as for playing the 11th Doctor’s friend and travelling companion Amy Pond in Doctor Who, took to Bella’s social feed to make the announcement last night.
Introducing Karen, a spokesperson for Bella said: “Get ready for a blockbuster year at Bella 2025! We are delighted to unveil our theme with a little help from our favourite Hollywood superstar Karen Gillan!”
The video then launching, with Karen speaking to the camera, saying: "Hello Bella drummers for 2025. Karen Gillan here with a pretty exciting announcement. I am here to tell you that the theme for Bella 2025 is Bella Goes to the Moovies. So get your tickets, enjoy and have the best time ever.
