The Scottish Government today shared their new promise to have the A9 dualled between Inverness an Perth by a new deadline date of 2035.
The announcement made by transport secretary Mairi McAllan today in the Scottish parliament was one she said must be 'safe, reliable and resilient as possible – and that’s what the Scottish Government will deliver.'
Mixed response has already been provided to today's speech with Colin Marr, chief executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce commenting that the announcement should be 'treated with scepticism by the business community.'
