Thousands of people were partying at the Gathering music festival in Inverness yesterday.

Among performers at the Northern Meeting Park was Torridon, who had the crowd bouncing.

It was the first time the annual event has been held for two years, due to the pandemic.

A spokesman for the event said on Facebook: "What a day! We have loved partying with you all.

"Thanks to all our performers, suppliers, traders, staff and of course to you our amazing audience.

"It’s great to be back.

"Excited for the Gathering 2022 already!"
