WATCH: Woman on mobility scooter tackles one of the busiest roundabouts in Inverness

A RECORDING of a woman zooming around a busy Inverness roundabout on her mobility scooter has gone viral online.

Roy Macdonald shared the dashcam footage online of the woman at Shore Street on Friday and it has been viewed 57,000 times since, attracting more than 550 comments and more than 650 shares.

Mr Macdonald who works as a HGV driver for the Co-op said he was on his way back from a delivery in Kyle.

The HGV driver said that when he noticed the woman trying to enter the roundabout he positioned his vehicle to stop traffic from coming in from his left side as they may not have seen her crossing.

“She was extremely lucky that the roundabout was so quiet," Mr Macdonald said.

"I just sat back and tried to let her cross safely”
