Crafters from Nairn and surroundings will gather in Nairn on Sunday for a charity market.

With many stalls selling creations of all kinds and a raffle the event, which will run from 12p to 4pm at the Muthu Newton Hotel will aim to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK.

The initiative is run by local crafter Julie MacLellan, who has been organising charity craft fairs for several years, each time helping a different cause.

She said: "So many people and their loved ones are affected by Alzheimer's so we thought it would be a great cause to support."
She added that previous events have raised around £500 and she hopes this time they will hit target again.

More on the sellers and raffle prizes can be found on the event's official Facebook page.
