What equipment did Inverness firefighters use in last night's blaze?
Firefighters used a range of specialist equipment when tackling a blaze in Church Street last night.
Three appliances were dispatched to a building fire at around 10.30pm.
A section of the road between Mercure Hotel and Perk was closed as they extinguished the blaze.
The team of firefighters from Inverness used two breathing apparatus, a hose-reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to make the scene safe within 30 minutes.
The response attracted attention from dozens of people who were in the city centre at the time.
It appears as though the blaze may have been in a building once occupied by Heroes for Sale, then Highland Print and Design, however a spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service could not confirm if action was required at commercial or residential premises.
It is understood police are not investigating the incident.
It is not known if anyone was injured. Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
