Alness cyclist Kyle Gordon ruled out of Commonwealth Games final after injury in horror crash confirmed
Alness cyclist Kyle Gordon is out of the Commonwealth Games Men 15km final due to a shoulder injury sustained in a horror crash at the LeeValley Velo Park in London.
The Alness cyclist has been ruled out of tonight's Men 15km final after his injury was confirmed.
Team Scotland have also said they are waiting to find out if he will be fit to compete in the Points Race as well as the Time Trial and Road Race next week.
Gordon was initially thought to be ok before his shoulder injury was confirmed.

Scottish Cycling says an update regarding Gordon's further participation at the Games will be released in due course.
Regarding Gordon's injury, Team Scotland released a statement saying: "Unfortunately due to a shoulder injury sustained in the crash during this morning's qualifying session, Kyle Gordon will not start in this evening's Scratch Race Final.
"A further update on whether he will participate in the Points Race, as well as the Time Trial and Road Race in the West Midlands will follow in due course."
