Alness United have been crowned North Caledonian League Division Two champions after holding on to win a five-goal thriller at Dalmore Park.
The Ross-shire outfit have secured the Ness Cup with two matches remaining after taking an unassailable lead in the division.

Alness looked to be cruising to victory after 16 minutes when they took a two-goal lead.
They broke the deadlock after eight minutes when Ryan McFee connected with a long ball into the box and had a simple tap-in.
The hosts doubled their advantage when Athletic were guilty of not clearing the ball out of their box and it eventually found its way to Michael Mackenzie who hammered the ball into the top right corner from 12 yards out.
Athletic reduced to the deficit to one nine minutes before half time when they were awarded a penalty and Luke Mackay found the net.
In a nervous second half from both teams, Alness restored their two-goal lead with 20 minutes remaining.
Jude Fraser nodded a cross into the net at the far post from close range.
Athletic were awarded a second penalty with 11 minutes remaining and Paul Gair made no mistake from the spot.
The visitors pushed for an equaliser and only a fantastic save by Iain Mackenzie denied Gair's free kick finding the net to make it 3–3.
Alness play their final home game of the season against Bonar Bridge on Saturday.
