Beauly Shinty Club duo Gregor MacCormick and Niall Maclennan named top bosses in Team of the Season
BEAULY co-managers Gregor MacCormick and Niall Maclennan were voted by fans as the top managers of 2021 in the Shinty Team of the Season.
The Camanachd Association held a poll asking fans to choose the top players from the 2021 campaign as well as the top manager from last year.
Beauly, who were a mid-table team in the second tier National Division before the pandemic, impressed during 2021 when regionalised leagues were established due to the impact of Covid-19.
They recorded impressive performances and victories against Premiership teams last season.
Most notably, they reached the quarter finals of the Camanachd Cup after defeating Premiership outfit Caberfeidh in the last 16 before being knocked out of the quarter finals on penalties by top flight outfit Kyles Athletic.
They also reached the final of the Balliemore Cup before suffering a 3–1 defeat to Skye.

In addition, Beauly won the MacTavish Juvenile Cup final with a 4–0 win over Kingussie in December.
In the Shinty Team of the Year six of the 12 players were from Kinlochshiel who won the Camanachd Cup and MacTavish Cup in a historic double.
