The January transfer window in Scotland is set to shut on Monday at 11pm with Inverness being able to hold on to all of their squad so far.

Kellacher did not go into much detail about any interest being shown by other clubs in his current roster of players.

But he says that he is hopeful that everyone at the club will still be at Inverness Caledonian Thistle next week.

He said: "There is always interest in players, but not much, so we will just see what happens.

“We are hopeful, but we are confident.”

Due to Inverness Caledonian Thistle still being in administration, they are restricted on players that they can bring in, only being able to sign players under the age of 20.

They can still sign players on loan who are under 20 until the end of February.

Kellacher said unless there are any injury concerns in the squad, he does not envisage any significant deals taking place.

He said: "We are still restricted to signing under-20s. We have until the end of February to take any player aged under 20 on loan, which is quite good.

"The boys are going fine. We will just keep our head down and battle on.

Inverness have brought in forward Alfie Bavidge and midfielder Alfie Stewart on loan from Aberdeen this month, with both players making a significant impact.

Stewart scored the winner for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the 2-1 victory against Alloa Athletic last week.

Kellacher has been impressed with the impact Stewart has made since coming into the club.

He said: "Alfie has been great, and excellent on the training ground too.

"It's not a position he's too familiar with.

"His assist on Saturday was a great ball into the box for Keith Bray to score and then he took his goal well to win it.

"He just needs to kick on as best he can now. I'm sure he will, because he's a good footballer.”

Inverness Caledonian Thistle face Queen of the South at the Caledonian Stadium on Saturday, less than two weeks since they faced each other in Dumfries when they lost 3-2.

Inverness could move out of the relegation zone if they win on Saturday and if Annan Athletic fail to win at Kelty Hearts.

Kellacher is wary of Queen of the South’s poor away form this season, knowing it is something they will try to put right.

He said: "We will touch on the fact they will be trying their best to put their away form right.

"We know we're in for a really hard game. Last week down there, it was two good teams going for it, which was good for the neutral, if not for myself.

"Both teams wanted to win, and that's what you want. It was refreshing to see them having a go at us, and us having a go at them.”

Kellacher is hopeful Luis Longstaff will recover from an injury he picked up in the 3-0 win against Annan two weeks ago and be available for Saturday.

"Luis is back in contention. He has trained on Thursday, and we will see how he is on Friday and take it from there.

"He's trained a couple of days, so it has been ideal to get him back involved with the squad.

"The physios, Fiona, David and Megan, have done a great job with him. Hopefully he will have no problems, and we can get him back in the squad on Saturday.”
