Inverness Caley Thistle hoping to smash highest attendance of the season for final home game of League One campaign against Arbroath

Caley Thistle would love to smash their highest attendance of the season to end the 2024/25 season on a high note, according to the club’s commercial business manager Andrew Benjamin.

After a series of ticket deals to encourage supporters to come along to the Caledonian Stadium, and hundreds of free tickets given out to primary schools for multiple matches, the curtain could come down on football in Inverness for the season this weekend.

With ICT still battling to secure their League One status for the 2025/26 campaign, and champions Arbroath due to visit the Highland capital tomorrow afternoon, the club have put out a rallying call to supporters to get behind their team.

No home match this season has seen more than 2000 supporters fill into Caley Thistle’s home ground, but Benjamin is hoping to smash that barrier with one last push.

He said: “This Saturday is probably the club’s most important match in recent times, and we will need the full force of the community behind us as we take on Arbroath.

“The players have given everything in what has been a really difficult season for everyone involved with the club, and now we’re asking the fans to do the same on Saturday.

“There are many incentives out there this weekend. You can bring your children for £1, and season ticket holders can bring a friend for £5 to experience what Inverness Caledonian Thistle is on a matchday.

“This is a time for the community to pull together. We have done our bit by giving away tickets to the community, to primary schools and to youth groups, so now we’re asking for you to come and help get behind the club.

“I really would love to see a crowd of over 2500. It would be amazing - what a way to sign off!

“We’ve had some really good news coming out of the club in the last couple of weeks, so to sign off with a massive crowd would be phenomenal, and I know it would mean so much to the players and the manager in particular.

“Let’s get behind the club and show our appreciation for everything Alan Savage, Scott Kellacher and his team have done this season.”
