Inverness Caledonian Thistle reduced the gap with Annan Athletic to four points in League One with a massive win at Galabank on Saturday afternoon.

Inverness took the lead six minutes before half time when Alfie Bavidge found the net for his second goal for the club in two games.

Bavidge, who has arrived on loan from Aberdeen, along with Alfie Stewart, followed up scoring on his debut for Inverness against Dumbarton two weeks ago.

Inverness then doubled their advantage four minutes into the second half when Keith Bray scored.

The visitors then killed off the game six minutes from time when they were awarded a penalty and Billy Mckay made no mistake from the spot to secure all three points.

Inverness are now on 16 points in ninth place and have a game in hand on Annan Athletic who are on 20 points in eighth.

They could reduce the gap to one point on Tuesday night when they travel down to Dumfries to face Queen of the South.
