Caley Thistle seek one more before end of the month
ONE more player is set to be added to Caley Thistle’s squad prior to the closure of the transfer window at the end of the month.
Inverness manager Terry Butcher would ideally want a recruit versatile enough to play in a variety of positions.
Last week he signed Bradford City defender Steve Williams on loan until the end of the season, gifting him his SPL debut in the last 14 minutes of the 1-0 win at Motherwell alongside fellow loanee Roman Golobart.
Butcher hopes it is not the end of his business after midfielders David Davis and Aidan Chippendale completed their loan spells last week.
“We are optimistic we can do something,” Butcher said. “I don’t know when that will be but we have some irons in the fire and will take it day-by-day.

“I certainly want to add to the squad because we had a 24-man squad, but two went back to their parent clubs and now Chris Hogg is out for the season so we were down to 21 before Steve Williams came in.
“We would like to get another one in because we want competition and options all over the pitch.
“If we can get a player who can play attack, defence and midfield that would be wonderful!”
