Caley Thistle stars rated doubtful for Hearts battle
CALEY Thistle joint top scorer Andrew Shinnie is rated as "very doubtful" ahead of tomorrow’s home game against Hearts.
The attacking midfielder suffered a foot injury during the Scottish Cup fourth round replay against Dunfermline where he scored in extra time to help seal a 3-1 victory.
It is thought the setback could rule him out for up to six weeks if his foot is broken.
Defender Roman Golobart was stretchered off during the game after he landed awkwardly on his ankle after a challenge from Pars substitute Paul Willis and Lee Cox was substituted at half time due to a calf strain.
Goalkeeper Ryan Esson was replaced by Jonny Tuffey before kick off because manager Terry Butcher did not want to risk the stopper, who had a groin strain.
