CALEY Thistle's game against Falkirk has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Scottish Championship fixture, which had already been postponed from Saturday, again fell foul of the weather.

Players and manager John Robertson had been shifting snow from the pitch on Monday and the under-soil heating had been on.

However, a noon inspection was failed and the game shelved for the second time in four days.

It is the Caley Jags' third postponement in a month, with the match against Brechin City also pushed back a week after being called off on November 21.

The Caledonian Stadium pitch struggled with the spate of bad weather and two games in four days, with the St Mirren game on November 25 and Brechin visiting four days later.

They will now hope the pitch will recover in time for Saturday's game against Dumbarton.
