Culloden started the game with great intensity, quickly taking control of the scoreboard.

Their offense was led by accurate shooting and smart passing, allowing them to build an early lead.

James Gillespie's struggled to keep up with the pace of the game, allowing Culloden to have a convincing lead by half time.

Jessica Gibson demonstrated exceptional defence throughout the game, contributing with steals and blocks, helping to disrupt James Gillespie’s offence.

Teacher Holly Martin said: “It was an outstanding team performance from Culloden Academy, with multiple players stepping up to ensure the win, this highlights not only the strength of the team but also the individual brilliance of players.”

It is the latest success for basketball teams in Inverness.

Inverness Lions Basketball Club won the Scottish Division Two title earlier this month.

Inverness Lions Under-14 girls’ team also won a Scottish title with Highland Bears girls’ team winning the under-16 Scottish Cup in February.
