DARTS: Muir of Ord team miss chance to close gap at the top





TARRADALE missed the chance to close the gap on Inverness Summer Darts A League leaders Portland A after losing 7-5 to fifth placed Battlefield Bullies.

The result means Portland A remain three points clear of the Muir of Ord outfit on 12 with a game in hand after not being in action last week.

Seaforth Club are in third place four points behind on eight after being held to a draw by fourth place East End Arrows on seven. In the bottom of the table clash Still Game have moved three points clear of Innes Power after a 10-2 win.

In the B League, Legion CSE are two points clear at the top after an 8-4 win over Culloden Moor Inn.

Second place Innes Bar do have a game in hand and kept the pressure on after an 8-4 win over Raging Storm Raigmore. Raigmore moved into fifth place after they beat 147 Buddies 7-5.

In the C League , Clachnaharry remain two points clear at the top of the table after they thrashed Smithton Pirates 11-1.

Innes Spikeys are two points behind with a game in hand after beating Chieftain Rebels 7-5,

Conon Hotel also kept their title hopes alive after they recorded a 9-3 win over Legion.
