Robbie Deas confirmed as new Kilmarnock signing after Inverness Caley Thistle departure

Robbie Deas has officially been announced as a Kilmarnock player after his contract at Inverness Caledonian Thistle expired.

The 23-year-old has signed on at Rugby Park until the summer of 2025, moving into top-flight football for the first time after ICT missed out on the play-offs.

Caley Thistle had earlier released a statement thanking Deas for his efforts in the Highland capital, confirming they had rejected several bids for the defender over the last three years.

Deas himself had announced that he would be moving on after the Scottish Cup final, which turned out to be his last game for Inverness.

After penning the deal, Deas told Killie's website: “I fully understand the size of this club and the demands that will be placed on me as a player, so I’m excited about taking this step in my career.

“It was inspiring to speak with the manager about his ambitions for the club and it became clear that Kilmarnock would be a perfect fit for me.

"I’m determined to kick on and do my best for the manager and supporters over the next two years.”
