Demetriou looking for positive reaction from Ross County

STELIOS Demetriou is warning Championship rivals they would be wrong to think Ross County will be soft touches this season.

The Dingwall club’s management team are intent on playing attractive, attacking football despite the brute physicality of Scotland’s Championship.

But Cypriot international Demetriou, who joined the club from champions St Mirren in the summer, insists County won’t be bullied into submission against teams viewing them as title favourites.

Morton took a direct and physical approach against the visiting Highlanders on Saturday before coming from behind to win 2-1.

Demetriou, though, is quick to stress County hold plenty of physical presence of their own throughout the squad.
