Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Manny Duku leaves the club by mutual consent
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed that Manny Duku has now left the club after the striker's contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The Dutchman only signed for Caley Thistle in the summer, joining on a free transfer when his deal at former club Raith Rovers expired.
He started well, scoring twice in ICT's League Cup group campaign, but fell out of the starting line-up when Billy Mckay returned to fitness and those two goals ended up being all he had to show for his efforts across 25 appearances – most of which latterly came in cameos from the substitutes' bench.
"He was a consummate professional throughout his time at Caledonian Stadium and he will always be welcomed back in Inverness by everyone at the club," a statement on Caley Thistle's website read.
"The club would like to thank Manny for his contribution and wish him all the best in the future."
Duku becomes the second striker to leave the Highland capital this month, following Lewis Jamieson who saw his loan cancelled by parent club St Mirren who then sent him back out to League One outfit Clyde.
The Caley Jags have also recruited in attacking areas this month, though, signing Logan Chalmers, Sam Pearson and Joe Hardy on loan while Austin Samuels signed an 18-month deal last week.
