The Inverness Caledonian Thistle clean sheet record holder returns to the Highland capital after a year with Buckie Thistle, where he helped the team to an 11-match unbeaten run to end the Highland League campaign.

Growing up in Inverness as a Lilywhites fan, Ridgers will now wear the Clach shirt for the first time next season.

Club manager Conor Gethins told the club’s media channels: "Securing Mark is another marker in the direction that the club is going. If we want to push on and genuinely go and compete, we need to bring in a calliper of players like Mark.

“Experience, a winning mentality, and a drive for success, it's important that we keep that going.

“We look forward to working with Mark, and hopefully, he can help us bring more success back to Clach."
