Billy Dodds sacked from Inverness Caledonian Thistle - Fans reaction
Supporters have reacted to Billy Dodds being sacked as manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle last night.
Assistant manager Barry Wilson's contract has also been terminated by the club with sporting director John Robertson and academy director Charlie Christie taking charge of the team until a new head coach is appointed.
Dodds' final game in charge was the 1-0 defeat against Raith Rovers on Saturday.
The Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust released a statement believing the time was right for change.
A statement from the Supporters Trust said: "Whilst it is always sad when someone loses their job, the start to this session has been very disappointing and it became clear that something had to change.

"Billy and Barry will be remembered for taking us to the 2023 Scottish Cup final but now is the time for change and we hope that the fans can get behind the new manager when an appointment is made."
Fans also reacted to the news on the Inverness Courier social media channels.
Ewan Beattie wrote: "It is a shame, one of Scottish footballs good guys, I felt for him at Dundee last year when we got a draw and a section of our own support turned on him personally, rather than because it was what on the park, and that to me is utterly wrong.
"I would wish him well as he has given us an element of success also.
"I just hope we are not just giving another manager a poison chalice with having next to no financial backing."
Phyllis Craig wrote: "Shame you can only make a team with the players that you have and if they're useless what can a manager do."
Lee- Mon Hussein wrote: "About time should’ve gone three games ago."
Daniel Macdonald wrote: "It’s been an awful start, we usually start poorly but this is a new low."
