Sandra Duncan, Duncan Fraser, David Macdougall and Alexander Maciver have all officially been confirmed as directors with the Merkinch outfit.

In addition, Fraser has also been confirmed as Clachnacuddin’s new club secretary when the updates were revealed on Companies House on Thursday morning.

Chris Stewart remains as chairman of Clachnacuddin having been appointed to the role in May last year.

Stewart says their appointments are a positive move for Clachnacuddin.

He said: “They came in during the summer and they have taken up director roles.

“In terms of the club’s structure there has been no change and I will still be in the role as chairman.

“We look to keep moving on the same trajectory and moving the club forward the way it has been.

“I am delighted these four people have decided to take up roles as directors at the club since coming in during the summer.”

Clachnacuddin have enjoyed one of their best seasons in years, with the team set to finish in the top half of the table for the first time in over a decade.

Stewart says the club has experienced success on the pitch as well as off the pitch, and paid tribute to everyone who has been involved with the club this season.

He said: “It has been a team effort, where I have been working alongside some great people.

“When you have these sort of people around you, it makes my job as a chairman easier to delegate tasks and people working within their own specific areas of the club.

“It has been a real team effort and that is what has got us to where we are today.”

Clachnacuddin are set to finish their Highland League campaign at Grant Street Park tomorrow when they take on Formartine United.

Victory will guarantee Clachnacuddin at least a sixth place finish.
