Hampden Roar to bring the European Championship trophy to Inverness
THE European Championship trophy is set to be on display at the Inverness Leisure Centre next week.
It is part of the Hampden Roar exhibition which is coming to Inverness on Monday.
The venue is holding the exhibition to mark Hampden Park hosting four matches during the 2020 European Championships in June.
The exhibition will feature five interactive zones related to the European Championship.
Included in one of the five dedicated zones will be the coveted trophy of the UEFA European Championship, the Henri Delaunay Cup, last won by Portugal during the 2016 tournament.
It will be the first time that the trophy has toured Scotland.

In the other zones, fans are also offered Eur-own chance to play with a mini-pitch – a place for children and adults alike to enjoy activities like a dribbling competition, penalty kicks as well as football trivia.
Also included is an Iconic Moments zone – a travelling museum exhibiting precious artefacts from the Scottish Football Museum – Heroes Dressing Room and the Fans First zone which will capture Scots fans greatest and most iconic moments from the tournament’s history.
The exhibition will be open on Monday between 10am and 6pm.
