Mixed martial arts talent Ross Houston believes he is in the shape of his life ahead of this week’s crucial tilt at earning a world title fight.

The 27-year-old will square up to experienced campaigner Nathan Jones at a packed O2 Indigo Arena in London tomorrow aiming to make it seven career wins from seven.

If he can prevail in front of upwards of 5,000 spectators at CW95, Houston would be all but guaranteed a potentially career-defining crack at the Cage Warriors welterweight world title.

That in turn would offer the chance of a "golden ticket" to the elite environs of the globally renowned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) – a long-cherished goal for the Inverness fighter nicknamed ‘The Hitman’.
