INVERNESS Athletic won the first silverware of the Inverness and District Amateur Football Association season when they defeated Avoch in the Premier Cup final in Muir of Ord.

Chiedu Ikeme gave Inverness the lead but James Ross levelled from the penalty spot just before half time.

Lewis Mitchell then scored the winner for Inverness Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
